Surf Fishing Rod

St. Augustine surf fishing?
I have a couple of surf rod to strengthen enterprises (rather old, but some new buses and they are ready to go) and I would like to know the good fishing spots and techniques for fishing from the beach. I have always fished in the heavy weight of the pyramid and the two hooks of frozen shrimp for bait. I am a new area, so a good list, what can I expect to catch (realistically) would also be useful. Thank you very much!
Surf fishing in the region it is good to use sand fleas, and Pompano, Pompano get a little device for all Tackle store there. Whiting and blue fish are usually caught Surf there too, whiting using fresh shrimp fish finder rig Blue fish, use the fishfinder rig with the Director of Wire and use of the frozen fingers mullet or cut mullet. Spanish mackerel are caught there, a glove or use a different lures bluefish rig in the past spoken of the finger mullet. If you get a Pompano (King of Florida Surf fish) keep your head when the clean is a gland in her head, which makes it an excellent flavor when it cooks. You will be a sand flea rake Surf and search for them (mole crabs is another name) to put them on your hook and cast to where the cuts are washing or sand bars, where is the lowest get them caught. A similar pyramid sinker and Surf, Surf rougher, bigger weight. Good luck.
