Drag Fishing Reel
Best Fishing Reel, Penn, Shimano, Daiwa, or?
This question is probably more the survey is your opinion. I am based Pacific the islands and we have some dark fish hook ups. I use the Shimano equipment landbased Game Fishing My Penn and Offshore Sport Fishing. Some say only choose one, I'm quite fond of Penn HT100 Drag System. I think it is much better, braking performance and life of Shimano. What are the results?
From the description of where you are fishing, nothing can beat Penn reel. If I was going to fish out of the way place I would like to have two wheel Jigmaster 500 and 113H 4 / 0 They are simple, easy to repair the area, and parts of these reels if necessary, can be found almost everywhere. I can not decide Shimano TLD 25 ot Penn 330 GTi?
I consider buying one of these reels, but I can not decide ... I do a lot of trolling for pleagics, so please Suggest ... Thanks
I guess it comes down to preference ....... Shimano TLD 25 is a lever drag reel. Lever Drag reels are much easier to control when playing fish and fisherman provide "accurate" pull the control (important when lighter than normal).
