Saltwater Fishing Reel

deep saltwater fishing rod reel spinning?
I'm fishing deep water dock 50ft +. My problem is that i cannot feel when your line goes bottom. is there, how can I tell? I won my rod is useless when it comes to launching deeo cuz i cannot feel when it hits the bottom.
If you have enough weight, you should be able to tell when your line goes slack. Reel it up until you feel the weight. On the other hand maybe you should try Braid as fire line. It is more sensitive. Hope this helps.

Hello, I have a different gear. I am surf fishing in the Atlantic and I am fresh fish as well. I'm 6 - salt water set ups. 4 to 7 foot rods and 2 9 feet. sits on these reels rods reels, shakespeare mostly saltwater reels and two diawa reels. (I do not spend a pile of money on equipment - do not have to if the device is ensured), all of which are spooled with braided spiderwire. 40-50 and 60 lb line 4 - freshwater set ups. 3 shakespeare mantis are a series of spinners, the light-fishing practices, such as perch, brim, and so on. 1 - Shakespeare 6'6 "ugly stick and sit in a presidential series phlugher spinner reel. shake spears are spooled with Berkleys monofiliment Big Game line and 10 lb test phlugher is spooled with 14 stren lb flourocarbon. I also have two deapsea rods that I use when I go after the BIG OL KITTY KITTY fish. I'm using mostly my salty rod and reels, but they are all medium-heavy action rods. I know that there are huge points for cats that I'm away from the exchange of rolls In the medium-heavy work heavy work. I try to be different rods and reels for each application that I go. i dont spend a pile of money on my reels and rods, because i do it. if a person knows how to work and know how to pull the fishing rod to fight a big ol very expensive equipment isn't needed. but i dont skimp on a line, however. My opinion is that the line is the most important thing there. if the line isn't worth the flap is not reel. my tackle boxes, I actually have 4 Practice 4 because i dont like to carry all my gear with me if it is not needed. I use a bass fishing is a Bill Dance series box. nothing fancy i dont do much I stick to the basics of gear. shoot a few, a few cranks, a few jigs, a variety of worms. and the criteria for the bullet weight, hooks, split shot weights and other what-nots. I have 2 small drawers, a bait box that I use a salt-water fishermen surf fishing, bottom fishing rigs, like pliers, pryamid weights sibinki ferries and other marine water supplies and other like catfish bait box gear. 2 ounce bullet weights, the director of material and a few homemade trebble leaders and hooks and other gear as catfish, which might be floatin around. and I have a small clear box, (you know the lil cheap yourself that most people use more of their fishing bags. i regarded as one of the fill when I go fishing panfish. I will continue to smaller jigs, hooks, split shot weight, a few small crank baits, spinners and bobbers. well, that I think is summed up most of my gear that I use. Fishin good luck, be safe and remember to share experiences

210lr Daiwa reels, how old and had a good or not?
My mother gave me 210lr reel and rod, which was my fathers. I took it home to clean it up works well. My father passed away 11 years ago. I was just trying to see if they were good rolls or not and how old he got back Some of what comes fishing in mid-80's going to use it only going to put it in my den.
210 was a very popular spincast coil. Dating to the mid 80's is about right. Most spincast reels as "kids" or "newbies" wheel, and many of them were / did not do everything well. 210 was an exception. This reel was a very good quality compared to most of the other, and it should still be fine to use Today, if you choose.
